NOTE - This is not a venue for casual visitors to bring their systems for repair free of charge. Nor is it intended that the more experienced members will spend their time doing so. That having been said, members may bring their system to demonstrate problems they have, and to ask for help with using software and the like - and may be able to get some practical help, if another member is willing and has sufficient time. We may take on some work with members systems as a practical demonstration for some things. At our new venue, with more space and more time available, we are looking to expand the availability of "hands-on" help.

NOTE - All members whilst at the club will give their advice and time freely - this does not extend to assisstance outside the club, which is a matter to be discussed and agreed between themselves without involvement of the club. There may be members with a commercial interest in computing, and outside the club they will be entitled to expect to be paid normal rates for work.

NOTE - All advice in the club will be given in good faith, but without any guarantees of any kind. Also the club at this point has no insurance for its activities (and may not have for some considerable time due to the costs involved), and so all systems are brought to the club entirely at your own risk, in all regards.
I started the ACC basically because there wasn't a computer club in the area, and computing has been my entire career and hobby too. I was a member of computer clubs on the (nothern) Costa Blanca for some years, and I enjoy passing on some of my experience. As with most people in the industry, my experience covers some things in depth - and other things hardly at all. That's why we will be looking for members who can pass on some of their areas of expertise too.

It's a members club - run by the members - and I play my part as a member as best I can.
